HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 091472C - Quit Claim Deed - Joseph William Duncan - Country Club Addition - 09_14_1972RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed in favbr of Joseph William Duncan, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Senter, Jr„ Attorney QUIT CLAIM; DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS KNOW ALL MEN BY TEMSE PRESEI� COUNTY OF LUBBOCK THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND N01100 01. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by JOSEPH WILLIAM DUNCAN of the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these present ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE and FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said JOSEPH WILLIAM DUNCAN, all their right title and interest in and to that cer- tain tract or parcel of land lying and 'being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 12, Block 19, Country Club Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE North 15 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 12, Block 19, Country Club Addition; THENCE East a distance of 200. 00 feet; THENCE South a distance of 15. 00 feet; THENCE West a distance of 200.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. t TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said JOSEPH WILLIAM DUNCAN, of Lubbock County, Texas, his heirs and assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter, have. claim or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
