RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed
in favor of Mrs. F. M. Shawver, attached herewith which shall be spread upon
the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this loth day of August 1972.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK S
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
N01100 ($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand
paid by MRS.. F: hl. SHAVn VER of the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County. Texas,
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents
ABANDON, DISCLAIM, EIELEASE and FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said
MRS. F. M. SHAY VER, all their right title and interest in and to that certain
tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State
of Texas, described as follows.- to -wit:
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Lot 1,
Block 6, Slidell Addition to the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County,.. Texas;
THENCE South a distance of 125.00 feet along the
East line of said List 1, Block 5. Slidell Addition to
a point, said point being 5.00 feet North of the
Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 6, Slidell Addition;
THENCE East a distance of 15. S feet to a point;
THENCE North a distance of 125.00 feet to a point;
THENCE West a distance of 15. 9 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO SOLD the same premises together with all and singular
the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto
the said HEIRS. F. M. SHAUTER, of Lubbock County. Texas, be+r heirs and
assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter, have,
claim or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances
or any part thereof.
