HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 072772C - Pavement Improvements - Kerr Construction Co - Melonie Park South Addition - 07_27_197207Z774 T2T. g07.TTTT0W RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES S LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Melonie Park South, Lots 261-327, made arrangements with Kerr Construction Company for the construction of paving impr ve- ments on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of aid Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Melonie Park South, Lots 261-327 including the following streets: Knoxville Drive from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Kenosha Drive to its intersection with a line 3.00 feet East of the alley Southeast of Knoxville Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 2014-63. Knoxville Avenue from its intersection with the South Lip Line of Knoxville Dri e to its intersection with a line 8.00 feet North of the centerline of 82nd Stree known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 2014-64. Kenosha Avenue from its intersection with a line 18.00 feet South of the South Property Line of 78th Street to its intersection with the cul-de-sac South of 81st Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 2014-65. 81st Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Kenosha Avenue to i Is intersection with the West Lip Line of Knoxville Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 2014-66. Part of the North 1/2 of 82nd Street from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet East of the alley East of Louisville Avenue to its intersection with a line 3.00 feet East of the alley East of Knoxville Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 2014-67. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the abovemen- tioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and sa improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the aboveme_tioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer,be;,:and.:hd_is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to re- lease escrow money.
