BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUB13OCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is IL- reby authorized
and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim
Deed in favor of John L. Scott, attached herewith which shall be spread upon
the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council
shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in
detail.
Passed by the City Council this 8th day of Jane , 1972.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/
100 ($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid
by JOHN L. SCOTT, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby
by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM
unto the said JOHN L. SCOTT, of Lubbock County, Texas, all its right, title,
and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated
in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at a point which is 125 feet South of the
Northwe-s# corner of Block 9, Burleson & Osborn's
Stanton Addition, located in Section 16, Block A,
Lubbock, County, Texas;
THENCE West a distance of 300 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 20 feet;
THENCE East a distance of 300 feet;
THENCE North a distance of 20 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular
the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the
said JOHN L. SCOTT, his heirs and assings, nor any persons claiming under him
shall, at any time hereafter, have, claim or demand any right to title to the afore-
said premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
