Frank Gray Et Al - Section 11 Block B - 09_18_1951 '?UL�zl RES-OLUTION WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock, Texas, is the owner of a certain tract or parcel of land lying in Lubbock County, Texas, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: 1 -t A tract of land out of the Southeast corner of Section One (1), Block B, Lubbock County, Texas, beginning at a point 3774 f feet South of the Northeast corner of said Section One (1), Block B; THENCE West 1176 feet; THENCE South 1427 feet; rro 78t .� THENCE East 1176 feet; THENCE North 1427 feet, to the place of beginning, containing 38. 525 acres of land, more or less; and �r WHEREAS, J. Frank Gray and wife, Lily W. Gray, and Mrs. Jimmie Standefer, a feme sole, are the owners of a certain tract or parcel of land lying in Lubbock County, Texas, more particularly described as follows, t"to-wit: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Section Eleven (11), Block B, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE: South 1427 feet; THENCE East 1176 feet; THENCE North 1427 feet; THENCE West 1176 feet, to the place of beginning and containing 38, 525 acres of 'land, more or less, and subject to the reser- vation of an undivided one-half (1/2) interest in and to all minerals in, on, or under, or that may be produced from said ` land; and WHEREAS, the owners of the above described tracts of land have con- templated trading the respective tracts of land and commenced negotiations about April, 1954, and the terms of the said transaction have been accepted by the said J. Frank Gray and wife, Lily W. Gray, and Mrs. Jimmie Standefer, a feme sole, and they have agreed to trade their tract of land to the City of Lubbock if the City of Lubbock,will trade its tract of land without any additional money consideration, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT] the City of Lubbock accept., the offer of J. Frank Gray and wife, Lily W. Gray, and Mrs. Jimmie Standefer, a feme sole, and trade the tract of land above described, now owned by the City of Lubbock, to the said J. Frank Gray and wife, and Mrs, Ji#iamie Standefer, a feme sole, reserving an undivi- ded one-half (1/2) interest in and to all minerals in, on, and under the said premises being conveyed by the City of Lubbock, or that may be produced there- from, and that the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE, and he is hereby authorized to execute a Deed in favor of J. Frank Gray and wife, Lily W. Gray, and Mrs. ,�— Jimmie Standefer, a feme sole, conveying the following described tract of land, to-wit: A tract of land out of the Southeast corner of Section One (1),4 Block B, Lubbock County, Texas, beginning at a point 3774 •—, feet South of the Northeast corner of said,Section One i(1), Block B THENCE West 1176 feet; THENCE South 1427 feet; THENCE East 1176 feet; THENCE. North 1427 feet, to the place of beginning, containing 38. 525 acres of land, more or less. Out of the grant hereby made there is, however, excepted and reserved to the trantor herein, its successors and assigns, an undivided one-half (1/2) interest in all minerals in, on, and under the said premises here conveyed, or that may be produced therefrom.
