072w.USI RESOLUTION WHEREASi the City of Lubbock agreed with L. D. Whiteley that if he Would dedicate 95 feet on the- West side of a portion of Whiteley-Subdivision of Block 108, Markowitz Subdivision of Roberts and McWhorter'Addition, an Addition to the City of Lubbock,, Lubbock County# Texas$ the City of Lubbock would abandon the"East-West alley which runs on' and through the said Block 108 mzd which is 'only 7*6 feet in width, and execute a Quitclaim Deed in favor of L. D. 'Whiteley conveying its interest in and to the said alley to the said L. D. Whiteley; and + WHEREAS# -the Dedication Deed to the 9'#5 feet h&s been executed and the alley closed and abandoned by Ordinance 1107# duly passed by 4q the Governing Body of the City of Lubbock, NOW THEREFORE# v BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY. COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: 0 That" the Mayor of the City of Lubbock# Texas, Clarence K, White- # sides BE and he is hereby authorized to execute a Quitclaim Deed in Q) favor of L.- D,, Whiteley wherein the following described tract of 4 land lying and situated in Lubbock Countyj, Texas, to-wit:: BEGINNING'at -a point in the East Boundary Line -of ., the saidAvenue- in the City of -Lubbock, eras, where o. the boundary line intersects with "the 'South- 0 westerly-"Boundary Line of II: 'S. Highway No. 84 in said City- THENCE'South d ong. th© East' Boundary Line a of said College Avenue One Hundred (100) feet' to a o point, being the place of beginning and the Northwest `� Corner of the. tract -herein de scribed; ' THENCE East ' 125 25 feet to & point in the Southwesterly Boundary Line of-U.--S; Highway No, 84; THENCE in 'a Southeasterly j direction al ong ' said Highway boundary line twelve '(12) to feet ho a point; THENCE West 134-63 feet to a'point in the East Boundary Line of said College Avenue; THENCE North 75 feet to the BEGINNING POINT OF TE3FTHIS TRACT is quitclaimed to the said -L.
