RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 1819 has been introduced in the Senate of the Unite
States calling for an amendment to the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real
Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 to provide for minimum Federal relo-
cation assistance payments after July 1, 1972; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock is engaged in several federally assisted
programs which would be greatly benefited by the passage of this resolution; NOW
THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Council of the City of Lubbock does hereby express its
favor of Senate Bill 1819 and urges the support of such bill and its final enactment
THAT a copy of this resolution shall be sent to our area representatives it
the United States Congress, both in the U. S. Senate and the House of Representa
tive s .
