RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock an Amendment to Owner/Architect Agreement
for roof replacement at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center with Adling Associates Architects
dated July 9, 1992, attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and
as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if
fully copied herein in detail. _

AMENDMENT TO OWNER/ARCHITECT AGREEMENT
ROOF REPLACEMENT AT THE LUBBOCK MEMORIAL CIVIC CENTER
MR.CHAVEZ, due to the increased scope of the Roof Replacement at
the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center Project, we propose to amend
our Owner/Architect Agreement to increase our basic compensation
by $14,800.00.
The additional services due to the increased scope include the
following:
1. Conduct additional test cuts at roof areas Al, A2, A3,
F, Gl and G2.
2. Preparation of bidding and construction documents for
roof areas Al, A2, A3, F, G1 and G2.
3. Assist the City in receiving bids.
4. Provide construction administration services.
In accordance with the terms of the Owner/Architect Agreement,
the $14,800.00 fee is distributed as follows:
Schematic Design Phase (15% of Fee)...............$2,220.00
Design Development Phase (20% of Fee).............$2,960.00
Construction Documents Phase (40% of Fee) ......... $5,920.00
Bidding Phase (0% of Fee) .........................$ 0.00
Construction Administration Phase (25% of Fee) .... $3,700.00.
If this proposal is acceptable to the City of Lubbock, please
secure the signatures below and return one signed copy of the
amendment to our office.
