HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 120971I - Pavement Improvements - Kerr Construction Co - Live Oak Addition - 12_09_1971/2097/�z: j - RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES S LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Live Oak Addition, Lots 198-218, made arrange ments with Kerr Construction Company for the construction of paving improvement on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Live Oak Addition including the following streets: Hartford Avenue from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 69th Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of Loop 289 known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1928. eneva Avenue from its intersection with the South Property Line of the alley outh of 69th Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of Loop 289 nd designated as New Subdivision Unit Niimber 1929. ry Avenue from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet South of the South operty Line of the alley South of 69th Street to its intersection with the dius point North of Loop 289 known and designated as New Subdivision Unit mber 1930. he alley stubs on the West side of Hartford Avenue and four alley stubs on the orth side of Loop 289 and the curb and gutter on the South side of 70th Street est of Hartford Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 193 -B. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the abovemen- tioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and sa improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of the City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be nd the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby uthorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to re - ease escrow money.
