RESOLUTTON
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed in
favor of Lubbock Milam Home, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the
minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall con-
stitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 12th day of Aug4t f , 1971.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS,
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK j
THAT THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, a home Rule Municipality in the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of
ONE AND N0/100 E$1.00i DOLLARS and other good and valuable consider-
ation to it in hand paid by the LUBBOCK MILAMHOME, a corporation of
Lubbock County, Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does
hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER
QUIT CLAIM unto the said LUBBOCK MILAM ROME, of Lubbock County,
Texas, all its right, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel
of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas,
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the South east corner of Lot 1,
Milam Home Addition to the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE South a distance of 10.00 feet;
THENCE West a distance of 230.00 feet;
THENCE North a distance of 10. 00 feet;
THENCE East a distance of 230.00 feet;
to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises together with all and
singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereton in any spanner be-
longing unto the said LUBBOCK MILAM HOME, its successor$ and assigns,
nor any persons cle_iming under it shall, at any time hereafter, have, claim
or demand any right to title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or
any part thereof.
