RESOLUTION

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock, an amendment to
Grant No. 08-6-09314 offered by the Office of Technical Assistance, Economic
Development Administration, U. S. Department of Commerce, attached herewith
which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the
minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully
copied herein in detail.

Grant Amendment Offer to City of Lubbock, Texas, for Economic
Development Technical Assistance Program.
Technical Assistance Project No. 08-6-09314
The Assistant Secretary for Economic Development, acting pursuant
to the authority vested in him by Section 301(a) of the Public
Works and Economic Development Act of 1965 hereby offers to
the City of Lubbock, Texas,
an amendment to the grant accepted on September 16, 1970•
The amendment offered modifies the grant by changing the effective
date of the grant from September 1, 1970, to May 14, 1971.
This offer of grant amendment is subject to the terms, conditions
and limitations of the original General Terms and Conditions and
amends the Special Terms and Conditions as outlined above. This
offer of grant amendment does not commit the Government to approve
requests for additional grant funds during or beyond the grant
period.
