RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed in favor of Lubbock County
attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the
minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in
detail.

QUITCLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS §
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, hereinafter called "GRANTOR,"
for and in consideration of the sum of TEN AND N0/100 DOLLARS
($10.00) and other good and valuable consideration to GRANTOR in
hand paid by LUBBOCK COUNTY, hereinafter called "GRANTEE," the
receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these
presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE and FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto
the said GRANTEE, all of GRANTOR'S rights, title and interest in
and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as
follows, to -wit:
A tract of land in Section 1, Block D-4, Lubbock
County, Texas more fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of said Section 1,
Block D-4;
THENCE South along the said East line of said Section
1, Block D-4,a distance of 60 feet to a point;
THENCE West parallel to and 60 feet South of the North
line of said Section 1, Block D-4 a distance of 168
feet, more or less, to a point in the East line of the
Panhandle and Santa Fe right-of-way;
THENCE Northeasterly along the said railway right-of-
way, a distance of 61 feet, more or less, to a point in
the North line of said Section 1, Block D-4;
THENCE East a distance of 150 feet to the Place of
Beginning.
To HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and
singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any
manner belonging unto the said GRANTEE, its successors and
assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, it successors or
assigns, nor any persons claiming under GRANTOR shall at any time
hereafter have, claim or demand any right to the title to the
aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.

executed the same as the act and deed of the CITY OF LUBBOCK and
as MAYOR, for the purposes and consideration therein expressed
and in the capacity herein stated.
