RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed
in favor of Hubert E. Morris, attached herewith which shall be spread upon
the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a home Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
N0/100 ($1. 00) DOLLARS, and other good and valuable consideration to it in
hand paid by HUBERT E. MORRIS, of Lubbock County. Texas, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON,
DISCLAIM. RELEASE, AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said HUBERT
E. MORRIS, of Lubbock County, Texas, all its right, title and interest in
and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at a point, said point being N 890 56' MI
along the South right-of-way line of 99th Street a dis-
tance of 80.00 feet from the Northeast corner of Tract
B, S. W. P. S. Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock
County, Texas;
THENCE N 891, 56' W a distance of 916.48 feet to a point
of curvatures
THENCE around a curve to the left having; a radius of
15.00 feet; tangent lengths of 15.02 feet; angle of inter-
section of 90° 041. and a curve distance of 23. 58 feet to
a point of tangency;
THENCE North a distance of 90. 00 feet to a point of
tangency of a curve whose radius point bears 16.00
feet East;
THENCE Southeasterly around a curve to the left having a
radius of 15.00 feet, tangent lengths of 14.98 feet, angle of
intersection $9. 561, and a curve distance of 2S. 54 feet
to a point of tangency in the North right-of-way line of
89th Street;
THENCE S 89' 56' E along the North right-of-way line
of $9th Street a distance of 871.5 feet to a point of
curvature;
THENCE around a curve to the left having a radius of 15.00
feet, tangent lengths of 15.02 feet, angle of intersection of
901 041, and a curve distance of 23. 58 feet to a point of
tangency in the %est right-of-way line of Englewood Avenue;
THENCE North a distance of 41.74 feet;
THENCE S 89' 661 E a distance of 80. 00 feet;
THENCE South a distance of 116.76 feet to the PLACE
OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises together with all and
singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner be-
longing unto the said HUBERT E. MORRIS, his heirs and assigns, nor any
persons claiming under it shall, at any time hereafter, have, claim, or de-
mand any right to title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any
part thereof.
