IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROPOSED 1993 ASSESSMENT PAVING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, HIGHWAYS, AVENUES AND/OR ALLEYS IN AND ALONG THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. WHEREAS, the governing body of the City of Lubbock has heretofore ordered and provided for the improvement of portions of sundry streets, highways, avenues and/or alleys in and along the boundaries of the City as designated below: UNIT AND SUB -UNIT ALLEYS (10' WIDE) A-461-34 The North -South alley between York Avenue and Wayne Avenue from 4th Street to York Avenue. A-461-35 The North -South alley between York Avenue and Zoar Avenue from 4th Street to York Avenue. A-461-36 The East-West/North-South alley between FM 1730 (Slide Road) and Zoar Avenue and between 75th Street and 76th Street. UNIT AND SUB -UNIT 2035-94 2035-95 2035-96 STREETS Frankford Avenue from 66th Street to 82nd Street. 98th Street from Indiana Avenue to FM 1730 (Slide Road). 20th Street from Juneau Avenue to Kewanee Avenue. WHEREAS, it is proposed to make and levy assessments against abutting property and the owners thereof and others for a portion of the cost of such improvements; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the Engineer of the City BE and he is hereby directed to prepare and file with the City estimates showing the cost of improvements in each Unit, showing the description of the property abutting upon each unit with the names of the owners of such property and the amounts proposed to be assessed against each parcel of property, showing other matters and things, it being specially provided, however, that any mistake in such estimates or in amounts and in the descriptions of property or names of owners shall in no way affect, invalidate or impair any assessment which may be levied. SECTION 2. THAT such estimates, rolls and statements shall show all information required to be shown thereon by the proceedings of the City relating to such improvements and the laws and charter currently in force for the City, and by the provisions of Article 1105b of the Revised Civil Statutes of Texas.
