BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIW OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized an
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Corrected War
ranty Deed in favor of C. A. Clarke and wife, Mary Etta Clarke, attached
herewith which Shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as sprees
upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolu,
tion as if fully copied herein in detail.

COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Rome Rule Municipal Corporation of
Lubbock County, Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of TEN AND NO/
100 ($10.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to in in hand
paid by C. A. CLARKE and wife, MARY ETTA CLARKE. the receipt of which
is hereby acknowledged and confessed, has GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED,
and by these presents does GRANT, SELL and CONVEY, unto the said C. A. -
CLARKE and wife, MARY ETTA CLARKE of the County of Lubbock, State of
Texas, all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and situated in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, known and described as follows, to -wit:
A parcel of land out of Block Five (5). Suburban Homes
Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas,
described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a point 176 feet North of the Southwest Corner
of said Block 5;
THENCE North 62.2 feet to a point;
THENCE East 161. 5 feet to a point;
THENCE South 52.2 feet to a point;
THENCE South 45• West a distance of 14.4 feet to a point;
THENCE West 151.5 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING.
This is to correct clerical errors in the legal description of the
property which were made in prior deeds that have been filed for record.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, bgether with all an,
singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the said
C. A. CLARKE and wife, MARY ETTA CLARKE, their heris and assigns forever
and the said CITY OF LUBBOCK does hereby bind itself, its successors and assign
to Warranty and Forever Defend, all and singular the said premises unto the said
C. A. CLARKE and wife, MARY ETTA CLARKE, their heris and assigns, against
the acts of the Grantor herein, and all claiming by , through or under it and not
otherwise as to matters accruing on or prior to January 12, 1961.

presents to be signed by its duly authorised officers and to be sealed with the
