RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a SUPPLEMENTAL
AGREEMENT NO. 2 to LEASE NO. FA65SW.-418, Lubbock, Texas, between the
City of Lubbock and the United States of America attached herewith which shall be
spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this
Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in
detail

SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 2
WHEREAS, on January 28, 1965, a lease was entered into between the undersigned
to cover land, buildings, and appurtenances thereto for quarters of the Federal
Aviation Administration and the Weather Bureau on Lubbock Municipal Airport,
Lubbock, Texas, AND
WHEREAS, on 20 September 1965, this lease was supplemented to change Articles
7, 15, and 16; AND
WHEREAS, the Government has a need for an additional Five Hundred Square Feet
of office space for the General Aviation District Office, and the remodeling of
the offices is now complete and final cost has been determined, both parties
to this lease are hereby revising the said lease to reflect an annual rental
and other provisions based on the prior agreement of both parties;
NOW, THEREFORE, Effective 1 April 1971, the parties do hereby amend said lease
in the following respect and these only:
Article 7 shall be revised to reflect an annual rental of Nineteen Thousand
Two Hundred Seventy -Eight and 98/100 Dollars ($19,278.98) in accordance with
the formula provided in Article 12.
Article 16 shall be deleted and the following substituted in lieu thereof:
The Lessor shall supply custodial services to include water service; sewage
service; refuse collection and disposal; janitorial supplies including toilet
paper, soap, paper towels; initial and replacement supply of light bulbs as
required; janitorial cleaning services, periodic window washing, floor waxing
and buffing as required; installation and maintenance of sprinkler system;
grounds maintenance; cleaning, striping and maintenance of auto parking facilities;
repainting of interior of the building in accordance with lessor's usual repainting
standards; maintenance of installed restroom plumbing fixtures; and maintenance of
refrigerated drinking fountain. Services to be supplied to a total of 71156 square
feet @ $1.39 per square foot or Nine Thousand Nine Hundred Forty -Six and 84/100
Dollars ($9,946.84) per annum. The provisions of this Article 16 may be cancelled
for purposes of renegotiation and/or ell nination upon receipt of 30 days notice
from either party to this lease.

Article 17 shall be revised to reflect an annual rental of Twenty -Nine
Thousand Two Hundred Twenty -Five and 82/100 Dollars ($29,225.82).
