HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 5713 - Robert Doty Appointed Temporary & Substitute Judge, LMCR - 11_20_1997RESOLUTION NO. 5713 Item #27 November 20, 1997 RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Subsection 30.004(h) of the Government Code of the State of Texas provides that the governing body of the City of Lubbock may appoint temporary and substitute judges for the Lubbock Municipal Court of Record; and WHEREAS, such temporary and substitute judges shall meet the same qualifications to serve as are required of a regular municipal judge; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock has determined that it is in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Lubbock to appoint the following named person as temporary and substitute judge for the Municipal Court of Record; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the following named person is hereby appointed temporary and substitute judge of the Lubbock Municipal Court of Record. ROBERT DOTY Said person shall receive $30.00 per hour during regular hours and $50.00 per hour outside regular hours as pay for such position.
