HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 040871C - Quit Clailm Deed - URA - Acuff Heights Addition - 04_08_1971DL-%l�F1?1C RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Clam Deed in favor of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Lubbock, Texas, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of this Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a par of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in deta 1. Senter, Jr., City Attorney QUIT CLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS; COUNTY OF LUBBOCK THAT THE CITY OF LUBBOCK. a Home Rule Municipality in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 ($1.00) DOLLARS, and other good and valuable considera- tion to it to hand paid by the URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and con- fessed, does hereby ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, all its rights, interest and title in and to that certain tract of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit; BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 10, Block 11. Acuff Heights Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE North 45 degrees East a distance of 21.21 feet to a point 15 feet West of the East line of said Lot 10; THENCE North parallel to and 15 feet East of said East line of said Lot 10, a distance of 124 feet to a point in the East-West center line of 2nd Street; THENCE West along said center line a distance of 20 feet to a point in a 50 foot radius curve, said curve having a radius point 25 feet North of and 55 feet West of the North- east corner of said Lot 10, Block 11, Acuff Heights Addition; THENCE Southwesterly along said curve to the right an arc distance of 26.18 feet to a point in the North line of said Lot 10; THENCE East along said North line of said Lot 10, a distance of 11.70 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 10. THENCE South along the East line of said Lot 10, a distance of 114 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO BOLD the said premises together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner be- longing unto the said URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK. TEXAS, its legal representatives, successors add assigns, nor any person or persons claiming under it *hail, at any time hereinafter, have, claim, or demand any right to title to the aforesaid premises or apputenances, or any part thereof.
