RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS ANYOR AVENUES
r AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Melonie Park Addition, Lots 639m693, 709-716,
and 719-763 made arrangements with Pioneer Pavers, Inc. for the construction of
paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the
provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of
Helonie Park Addition including the following streets:
The south k of 66th Street from its intersection with a line 13.00 feet east of
the east property line of Peoria Avenue to its intersection with a line 119.96
feet east of the east property line of 63rd Drive known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 1789.
xford Avenue from its intersection with a line 14.00 feet north of the south
roperty line of 66th Street to its intersection with a line 12.00 feet south of
he north property line of 68th Street known and designated as New Subdivision
nit Number 1790.
2nd Drive from its intersection with a line 14,00 feet north of the south
roperty line of 66th Street to its intersection with a line 12.00 feet south of
he north property line of 68th Street known and designated as New Subdivision
nit Number 1791.
3rd Drive from its intersection with a line 12.00 feet south of the north
roperty line of 68th Street to its intersection with a line 14.00 feet north
f the south property line of 66th Street known and designated as New Subdivision

8th Street from its intersection with a line 12.00 feet west of the east property
ine of Peoria Avenue to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet northwest of the

9th Street from its intersection with a line 12.00 feet west of the east property
ine of Peoria Avenue to its intersection with a line 80.00 feet southwest of the
outhwest property line of 68th Drive known and designated as New Subdivision

Oth Street from its intersection with a line 14.00 feet west of the east property
ine of Peoria Avenue to its intersection with a line 12.00 feet east of the
est property line of Norfolk Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision
nit Number 1795.
xford Avenue from its intersection with a line 12.00 feet north of the south
roperty line of 70th Street to its intersection with the cul-de-sac south of
Oth Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1796.
rlando Avenue from its intersection with a lire 12.00 feet north of the south
roperty line of 70th Street to its intersection with the cul-de-sac south of
Oth Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1797.
Norfolk Avenue from its intersection with a line 17.00 feet south of the north
property line of Loop 289 to its intersection with a line 80.00 feet south of the
south property line of 68th Drive known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 1798.
Alley Returns on Loop 289 and Peoria Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 1799.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above -
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to
have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance
with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS,
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the Cityts portion of the cost and to release
escrow money.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Pioneer
Pavers, Inc., paving constractor, under their contract with the subdividers
of Melonie Park Addition and find the improvements on the south k of
66th Street, Oxford Avenue, 62nd Drive, 63rd Drive, 68th Street, 69th Street,
70th Street, Orlando Avenue, Norfolk Avenue and the alley returns on Loop 289
and Peoria Avenue as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been com-
pleted in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that
you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing
payemnt to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final
estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
