BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized to
and directed to executed for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim
Deed in favor of the Trinity Company, attached herewith which shall be spread
upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council
s hall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in
detail.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS;
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Rome Rule Municipality of the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of
ONE AND N0/100 DOLLARS ($1.00) and other good and valuable considera-
tion to it in hand paid by THE TRINITY COMPANY, a partnership treated
under the Uniform Partnership Act of Texas, of Henderson County, Texas,
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents
BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said
TRINITY COMPANY of Lubbock County, all its right, title, and interest
In and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Lubbock
and State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit -
BEGINNING at a point which is in the South line
of 70th Street, as previously dedicated, and
S 89057103" W. 43.00 feet from the center line
of Avenue W, as previously dedicated;
THENCE S 89*57103" W, with the South line of
70th Street, 196.45 feet;
THENCE N 84.19157" W, with the South line of
70th Street, 113.36 feet to the place of beginning
of this Easement, same being in the South line of
70th Street, and on a projection of the East line of
Tract A, South University Addition;
THENCE S 00*03133" E, 419.94 feet to a point in
the North line of a Utility and Garbage collection
easement previously recorded in Volume 767,
Page 601, Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE N 84 ° 19' 67" W, along the North line of
said easement, a distance of 20. 10 feet;
THENCE N 00003133" W, a distance of 419.94 feet
to a point in the South line of 70th Street;
THENCE S 84019157" E, with the South line of 70th
Street, a distance of 20.10 feet to the PLACE OF
BEGINNING,
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises together with all and
singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner
belonging unto the said TRINITY COMPANY, its successors and assigns,
nor any person or persons claiming under it shall, at any time hereafter,
have, claim or demand any right to title to the aforesaid premises or
appurtenances, or any part thereof.
