Turner Co - Tracy Heights Addition - 06_12_1969,A RESOLUTION io RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Tracy Heights Addition, Lots 157 and 158, 174- 187, 191-235, 250 and 251 made arrangements with W. D. Turner Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Tracy Heights Addition including the following streets: 14th Street from its intersection with the cul-de-sac West of Elkhart Avenue to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet West of the West Property Line of Elkhart Avenue (South Leg) known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1765. 15th Street from its intersection with the cul-de�sac West of Elkhart Avenue to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet West of the West Property Line of Elkhart Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1766. 16th Street from its intersection with the cul-de-sac West of Elkhart Avenue to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet West of the West Property Line of Elkhart Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1767. Elkhart Avenue from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley South of 16th Street to its intersection with a line 64.39 feet North of the North Property Line of 15th Street (West Leg) known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1768. Elkhart Avenue and 14th Street from its intersection with a line 64.39 feet North of the North Property Line of 15th Street (West Leg) to its intersection with a line 16.00 feet West of the West Property Line of Dover Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1769. 16th Street from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet East of the East Property Line of Elkhart Avenue of its intersection with a line 6.46 feet West of the West Property Line of the alley East of Elkhart Avenue (North Leg) known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1770. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above - mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. 11. Turner Construction Company, paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Tracy Heights Addition and find the improvements on 14th Street from Cul-de-Sac to Elkhart Avenue, 15th Street from Cul-de-sac to Elkhart Avenue, 16th Street from Cul-de-Sac to Elkhart Avenue, Elkhart Avenue from alley.South of 16th Street to Dover Avenue and 16th Street from Elkhart Avenue to alley east of Elkhart Avenue, as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and.specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
