HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 031369E - Quit Claim - Floyd Kind - Wheelock's Second Addition - 03_13_1969RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quitclaim Deed in favor of Floyd King, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of t* Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Fred O; Senter, r., City At ney THE STATE OF TEXAS I COUNTY OF LUBBOCK I KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: QUITCLAIM DEED THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipal Corporation, of the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized officer, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 ($1.00) DOLLAR and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by, Floyd Bing does hereby BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE and FOREVER QUIT- CLAIM unto the said Floyd King, of the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, his heirs and assigns, all of the City of Lubbock's right, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 4, Block 94, Wheelock's Second Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, THENCE West along the South line of said lot and/or along the North line of East 29rd Street a distance of 140 feet to the Southwest corner of said lot; THENCE South a distance of 12.6 feet, THENCE East parallel to and 12.5 feet south of the South line of said Lot 4 and/or the North line of East 28rd Street a distance of 127.6 feet to a point of curvature for a 12.6 feet radius curve, THENCE along said 12.6 feet radius curve to the left an arc distance of 19. 685 feet to a point of tangency, the same being the POINT OF BEGINNING for this tract. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD said premises, together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said Floyd King, his heirs and assigns forever, so that neither the grantor nor its successors or assigns, nor any person or persons claiming under the grantor shall at any time hereafter have, claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or any part thereof.
