BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized
and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Paving
Release attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the
Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and
be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
PAVING RELEASE
WHEREAS, heretofore, on March 31, 1966, the City of Lubbock passed
Ordinance No. 4970, such instrument being recorded in Volume 1081, Page 113
of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, such Ordinance containing a
notice of improvements and apportionment of costs of such improvements, by
assessing a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and in such Ordinance
there was included paving assessments for certain hereinafter described
Paving Sub -Units or Leave -Outs; and,
WHEREAS, under such Paving Sub -Units or Leave -Outs, such improve-
ments have created no lien or liens against the property assessed pursuant to
said Paving Sub -Units or Leave -Outs, by reason of the fact that such paving
improvements v were',omittedl;, .under said Paving Sub -Units or Leave -Outs,
and it is expedient to remove the cloud and apparent lien placed upon the title
of p,,operty abutting the streets as aforementioned: NOW THEREFORE:
The City of Lubbock and Pioneer Pavers Incorporated, acting by and
through their officers heretofore duly authorized in consideration of the premises,
do hereby and by these presents, RELEASE, RELINQUISH, and FOREVER QUIT
CLAIM to the owner or owners of property affected by the paving assessment
liens hereinabove mentioned, their heirs, administrators, executors and assigns,
all right, title, and interest the City of Lubbock and Pioneer Pavers Incorporated
may have in and to all these lots, tracts, or parcels of land being situated in
the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, and being further described as
follows, to -wit:
Unit 2144-13 Temple Avenue from 2 feet North of the N. P. L. of 66th
Street to 120.47 feet North of the N. P. L. of 66th Street
(East Leg).
Unit 2145-7 Cornell Street from 15.00 feet West of the E. P. L. of
North Avenue U to 5.00 feet West of the W. P. L. of
North A -venue T.
Part of
Unit 2146-18 The South I of 4th Street from 176.66 feet East of the E. P. L.
of Beech Avenue (South Leg) to 5.00 feet East of the E. P. L.
of Yucca Avenue. The below described only to be released:

This Release affects only the property hereinabove described and in
no way affects any property or liens not specifically described herein, and
all liens and apparent liens against property owners not otherwise released
are hereby expressly retained.
