ORDER AND RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Southwestern Public Service Company has heretofore on May 17,
1989, filed a notice of intent to change rates with the City Secretary of
the City of Lubbock; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, sitting as a utility regulatory authority,
has determined that such rate change is not a major change within the
meaning of the Public Utility Regulatory Act; and
WHEREAS, such rate change will result in a rate decrease for
Southwestern Public Service customers within the City of Lubbock and the
City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the customers of
Southwestern Public Service to allow such proposed rate increase to go into
effect within the City of Lubbock as requested; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT ORDERED AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the rate change requested by Southwestern Public Service Company
in its application of May 17, 1989, a copy of which is attached hereto as
Exhibit A, is hereby established as of June 1, 1989, pursuant to Vernon's
Ann.Civ.St., Art. 1446c.
Passed by the City Council this 25th day of May 1989.
