HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 3089 - CO #4 To Project #9278- Albert H Halff Associates- South Lubbock Drainage Study - 05_11_1989Resolution #3089 May 11, 1989 Item #1.5 HW:js RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Change Order No. 4 granting an extension of time and adjusting budget amounts for Tasks 2 through 7, Phase II of Project 9278 (South Lubbock Drainage Study) thus amending the existing Contract between said City of Lubbock and Albert H. Halff Associates, attached herewith, which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall consti- tute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. The Contractor agrees to proceed with study and to adhere to applicable specifications under the direction of the Engineer. Furthermore, the parties agree that the original Contract between the Owner and the Contractor shall be modified to the extent herein indicated. Halff Associates 4000 Fossil Creek Boulevard Fort Worth, Texas Gentlemen: WHEREAS, it is desirable to make changes in the Contract for this Project, being namely the following: Extension of the time allowed to complete Phase II of the Project and adjust budget amounts for Tasks 2 through 7, Phase II of the Project. WHEREAS, the Contractor herein agrees to the following changes: 1. Submit final report - change from December 16, 1988 to March 31, 1989. 2. Adjust budget amounts for Tasks 2 through 7, Phase II to reflect actual effort expended as follows: Phase II 1. Model Playa Lake System $21,886.00 $21,886.00 2. Develop Alternate Plans $ 7,708.00 $ 7,705.93 3. Evaluate Alternatives $10,056.00 $ 9,703.31 4. Evaluate Controls and Automation $ 2,509.00 $ 1,669.65 5. Prepare Cost Estimates $ 7,931.00 $ 6,164.93 6. Determine Phasing of Alternatives $ 4,077.00 $ 4,070.73 7. Prepare Draft and Final Reports $18,341.00 $21,307.45 The Contract amount of $111,200.00 will not change with this Change Order.
