RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND AVENUES AS
LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Crestview Addition, made arrangements with
Pioneer Pavers, Inc. for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets
dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the
recording of the subdivision plat of Crestview Addition including the following
streets:
Richmond Avenue from 15 feet South of the South Property Line of 58th Street to
3 feet North of the alley North of 59th Street, known and designated as New
Subdivision Sub -Unit Number NS 1510.
North one-half of 62nd Street from 16 feet West of the West Property Line of
Quaker Avenue to the West Line of Lot 110, Crestview Addition, known and
designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number NS 1513.
Raleigh Drive from the South Side of the alley stub on the East Side of Raleigh
Avenue North of 62nd Street to the North Lip Line of 62nd Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number NS 1514.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above -
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and sai
�-. improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been
constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the
provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release
escrow money.

PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 8TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1968.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Pioneer
Pavers, Inc., paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers
of Crestview Addition and find the improvements on Richmond Avenue from
15' S. of SPL of 58th Street to 3' N. of the alley N. of 59th St.; N 1/2
62nd St. from 16' W. of WPL of Quaker Ave. to W. Line Lot 110, Crestview
Addition.; Raleigh Dr. from S. Side alley stub E. side of Raleigh Ave.
North of 62nd St. to N. Lip Line of 62nd St. as listed on the final estimate
sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications
and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues,
authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached
consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
