The City consents to have Cox Cable change its city government channel to channel 2 effective March 1 7, 2003 in exchange for consideration from Ramar of: A: Channel change on air promotion Advertising on Fox34, UPN22, Telemundo-46, FOXNews950, Magic 93.7 and Stars 104.3. The commercials would air over a 60-day period from March 1 through April 30, 2003. The 30 second commercials would be produced by Ramar and highlight the channel change of the city government channel to 2 as well as Telemundo to 15 and UPN to channel 6. The commercials would be produced in English to air on all stations except for commercials airing on Telemundo and Magic 93.7, which would be in Spanish. All commercials would require approval by the city, Ramar, and Woods Communications, licensee ofUPN22. B: UPNID's From March 1 through April 30, 2003, UPN22 will run on its station ID's a graphic highlighting the change of the city government channel to Cox Cable channel 2. This graphic will be telecast at least once per hour. C: Graphic Production Ramar will produce a new logo design and animation for the city's use on channel 2. In addition, Ramar will provide 12 additional show title graphics for the city programs. D: PSA Production Ramar will produce ten 30 second PSA's for the city's use. These PSA's would be for the city's use only. Production of these PSA's would be completed over the period of February 1, 2003 through December 31, 2004. The city will provide 10 days notice to schedule production and will write and supervise each PSA to completion. City Hall* 1625 13th Street* P.O. E: Logo Clothing Ramar will make available logo clothing to replace existing clothing with channel 6 on it. These items will include golf shirts, long sleeved shirts and windbreakers and shall be to the satisfaction of the city. F: Transmission Ramar will furnish the City of Lubbock a transmitter, receiver, and antennae to enable the City to transmit its television signal to Cox Communications via microwave. In the event the City elects not to go to microwave transmission, Ramar will furnish $15,000 of equipment to assist with digital transmission. The total value of the Ramar proposal is estimated at $75,000. If you are in agreement, please sign these agreements and return three originals to me.
