IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the MAYOR of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
acted to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Paving Release with
IR CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, attached herewith which shall be spread upon
minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
atitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.

PAVING RELEASE
WHEREAS, heretofore, on April 8, 1965, the City of Lubbock passed
Ordinance No.4657, such instrument being recorded in Volume 1084, Page 547,
of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, such Ordinance containing a
notice of improvements and apportionment of costs of such improvements, by
assessing a lien upon the property abutting thereon, and in such Ordinance there
was included paving assessments for certain hereinafter described Paving Units;
and,
WHEREAS, under such Paving Units, such improvements have created no
lien or liens against the property assessed pursuant to said Paving Units, by
reason of the fact that such paving improvements have not been made and there
is no immediate plan of making street improvements upon the streets under said
Paving Units, and it is expedient to remove the cloud and apparent lien placed
upon the title of property abutting the streets as aforementioned: NOW THERE-
FORE;
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT the City of Lubbock and Kerr Construction Company, acting by and
through their officers heretofore duly authorized in consideration of the premises,
do hereby and by these presents, RELEASE. RELINQUISH and FOREVER QUIT
CLAIM to the owner or owners of property affected by the paving assessment
liens hereinabove mentioned, their heirs, administrators, executors and assigns,
ail right, title and interest the City of Lubbock and Kerr Construction Company
may have in and to all these lots, tracts or parcels of land being situated in the
City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, and being further described as
follows, to -wit:
Part of
Unit 2121-19 Detroit Avenue from the South Property Line of Srd Street
(East Leg) to 10 feet North of the North Pro-
perty Line of 4th Street (East Leg). The
below described tract only to be released.
Beginning at a point 60 feet South of the
Southwest corner of Lot 18, Block 21, Parke
Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock
County, Texas; Thence South 574.4 feet;
Thence East 100.00 feet; Thence North 574.4
