RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF AN AVENUE AS LISTED
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Oats Addition, Lot 2, made arrangements with
J. T. (Red) Robertson and Lowell McDonald for the construction of paving improve-
ments on a certain street dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of
said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Oats Addition,
Lot 2 including the following street:
The West one-half of Zenith Avenue from its intersection with a line 175 feet South
of the South Property Line of Parkway Drive to its intersection with a line 208.9
feet South of the South Property Line of Parkway Drive known and designated as
New Subdivision Unit Number 1734.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above
mentioned street was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and sa
improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been
constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the
provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby

release escrow money.

I have examined the paving improvements constructed by J. T. (Red)
Robertson and LowelljMcDonald, paving contractors, under their contract
with the subdividers of Oats Addition, Lot 2, and find the improvements on
the West 1/2 of Zenith Avenue as listed on the final estimate sheet to have
been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend
that you accept the improvements on said avenue, authorizing payment to the
contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate
sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
