HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 082467B - Pavement Improvements - Welch Brothers Cement Contractors - Mackenzie Terrace - 08_24_1967i9 1 u RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF AN AVENUE AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Mackenzie Terrace, Tract C, made arrangements with Welch Brothers Cement Contractors for the construction of paving improvements on a certain street dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Mackenzie Terrace Tract C including the following street: The West 1/2 of Quirt Avenue (curb & gutter only) from its intersection with a line 3 feet South of the alley North of East Dartmouth Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the alley South of East Dartmouth Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit 1687. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above - mentioned street was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. TEXAS 79406 August 24, 1967 I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Welch Brothers Cement Contractors, paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Mackenzie Manor, Tract C, and find the improvements on the West 1/2 of Quirt Avenue adjacent to Tract C, Mackenzie Manor (concrete curb and gutter only) as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said avenue, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock, Yours very truly, amu ahl City Engineer s CONSOLIDATED FINAL ESTIMATE MACKENZIE MANOR TRACT C Accepted August 24, 1967 QUANTITIES Unit & L.F.
