HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 081067A - Pavements Improvements - Pioneer Pavers Inc - Tracy Heights Addition - 08_10_1967RESOLUTION o^� RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Tracy Heights Addition made arrangements with Pioneer Pavers, Inc. for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Tracy Heights Addition including the following streets: Dover Avenue from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 15th Street to its intersection with a line 13.00 feet South of the South Property Line of 13th Street (wrest Leg) and the half cul-de-sac at 13th Street and Dover Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1725. Dover Avenue from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet North of the alley South of 16th Street to its intersection with a line 13.00 feet South of the South Property Line of 15th Street (wrest Leg) known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1485. 16th Street from its intersection with a line 13.75 feet West of the West Property Line of Dover Avenue (North Leg) to its intersection with a line 4.97 feet West of the West Property Line of the alley West of Dover Avenue (South Leg) known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1486. The North 1/2 of 16th Street from its intersection with a line 18.19 feet East of the East Property Line of Dover Avenue (North Leg) to its intersection with a line 16.00 feet West of the West Property Line of Chicago Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1487-A. The South 1/2 of 16th Street from its intersection with a line 18.19 feet East of the East Property Line of Dover Avenue (South Leg) to its intersection with a line 16.00 feet West of the West Property Line of Chicago Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision UnitNumber 1487-B. 15th Street from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet West of the West Property Line of Dover Avenue (South Leg) to its intersection with the cul-de-sac West of Dover Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1613. Dover Avenue from its intersection with a line 13.00 feet North of the North Property Line of 15th!Street (wrest Leg) to its intersection with a line 3.00 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley North of 15th Street (wrest Leg) known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1614. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above - mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money.. passage. Senter, J . , ity Attorney PORTER 2-6411 BOX 2000 Honorable Mayor and City Council Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: LUBBOCK, TEXAS 794O0 August 10, 1967 I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Pioneer Pavers, Inc., paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Tracy Heights Addition and find the improvements on Dover Avenue from 13th Street to the alley South of 16th Street, 16th-Street from Chicago Avenue to alley West of Dover Avenue, 15th Street from Dover Avenue to cul- de-sac West of Dover Avenue, Half cul-de-sac at 13th Street and Dover Avenue as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improve- ments on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
