RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, heretofore the City of Lubbock passed Ordinance No. 4368 such
Ordinance being recorded in Volume 985, Page 211 of the Deed Records of Lubboc:
County, Texas, and such Ordinance assessed a lien upon property abutting certain.
streets described therein; and,
WHEREAS, some of the sub -units as listed in such Ordinance were not con
strutted and such improvements have created no liens against the property assess
by reason of the fact that such paving improvements have not been made and there
is no immediate plan of making street improvements upon such subunits; and,
WHEREAS, it is expedient to remove the cloud and apparent lien. placed
upon the title of the property abutting the streets. to be improved which were
included in the subunits hereinafter listed; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized ='
and directed to execute a joint paving release with Pioneer Pavers, Incorporated"
of the following sub -units at the location. specified as set out in Ordinance No. 4368
which subunits being released are described as follows::.:
Unit 2113-1 Avenue P from 3.00 feet south of the south property line of J
the alley north of 70th Place to 3, 00 feet south of the north
cr
property line of Loop 289.
Part of
Unit 2113-5 50th Street from 15.00 feet west of the west property line of
Bangor Avenue to 3.00 feet west of the west property line of
the alley west of Slide Road ,((North Leg). The below described
tracts only to be released;
1. Beginning at a point which is 42. 00 feet south and 937.20
feet west of the northeast corner of Section. 28, Block E »2,
Lubbock County, Texas; Thence west 90.40 feet to a point;
Thence in a northwesterly direction a distance of 55. 10
feet to a point, said point being 36, 28 feet south and 1082. 4
feet west of the northeast corner of Section 280 Block EM2;
.Thence south 106. 28 feet; Thence, east 145.20 feet; Thence
north 100.00 feet to the point and place of beginning.
2. Beginning at a point which is 42. 00 feet south and 792.00
feet west of the northeast corner of Section 28, Block E»2,
Lubbock County, Texas; Thence west 145. 20 feet; Thence
south 100. 00 feet; Thence east 145.20 feet; Thence north
100. 00 feet to the point and place of beginning.

Unit 2118-26 16th Street from 27.00 feet west of the east property line of
Avenue G to 2.100 feet west of the west property line of Avenue F.
The below desoribed assessment only to be released;
1. Roadbeds, ties, rails and other appurtenances between the
rails and two ,(2) feet either side thereof.
Part of
Unit 2118-31 16th Street from 10. 00 feet east of the east property line of
Avenue B to the west property line of Avenue A. The below des-
cribed assessment only to be released;
1. Roadbeds, ties, rails and other appurtenances between the
rails and two ,(2) feet either side thereof.
Part of
Unit 2122-1 College Avenue from 15.00 feet south of the south property line
of 70th Street (W. Side) to 365. 65 feet south of the south property
line of 70th Street (West Side). The below described tract only
to be released;
1. Beginning at a point 1025.80 feet south and 60. 00 feet east of
the northwest corner of Section 4, Block E. Lubbock Count3
Texas; Thence south 365.65 feet; Thence east 100.00 feet;
Thence north 365. 65 feet; Thence west 100.00 feet to the
point of beginning. Less that part dedicated for 70th
Street.
Unit 2122-2 Indiana Avenue from 15. 00 feet north of the north property line
of 62nd Street to 3.00 feet south of the south property line of the
alley south of 64th Street (W. Leg).
Part of
Unit 2122-3 Indiana Avenue from 3. 00 feet south of the south property line of
the alley south of 64th Street (West Leg) to 32. 00 feet south of
the south property line of 66th Street. The below described trac
only to be released;
1. Beginning at a point 45. 00 feet north and 55. 00 feet east of
the southwest corner of Section 7, Block E-2; Thence nortl-
451.00 feet; Thence east 100.00 feet; Thence south 451.00
feet; Thence west 100.00 feet to the point of beginning.

2122-•4 Indiana Avenue from 32. 00 feet south of the south property line
66th Street to the north side of Loop 289. The below described
tract only to be released;
1. Beginning at a point 55. 00 feet east and 1320.00 feet south
of the northwestcorner of Section 12, Block E•-2; Thence
south 69.80 feet; Thence east 100.00 feet; Thence north
69. 80 feet; Thence west 100. 00 feet to the point of begin-
ning.
SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary of the City of Lubbock is authorized
and directed to attest the Release for the City of Lubbock.
SECTION 3. THAT such release shall affect only property abutting on
streets included in the sub -units above mentioned as embodied in Ordinance Nos=
4368 of the City of Lubbock and such release shall release only the property speci-
fically described therein.

Gentlemen:
I submit herewith the closing documents for 130 blocks of street
paving, known and designated as GWO 10,450.
Final inspection has been aidde of the abovementioned improvements
and said improvements have been constructed in accordance with plans,
specifications and contract documents.
I therefore recommend acceptance of the improvements.
