WITNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the payments and agree- ments hereinafter mentioned, to be made and performed by the OWNER and under the conditions expressed in the bond bearing even date herewith (if any) the CONTRACTOR hereby agrees with OWNER to commence and com- plete the construction of certain improvements described as follows: To provide labor and material for roofing projects at various locations in Lubbock, Texas in accordance with the plans and specifications. The City of Lubbock would prefer the work to be done in the following order: Building Water Utilities Office City Warehouse Mahon Library Animal Shelter Address Alternate Amount 600 Municipal Dr. N/A $16,607.00 300 Municipal Dr. Yes 25,965.00 1306 9th Street Yes 3,745.00 401 N. Ash Yes 10,450.00 $56,767.00 and all extra work in connection therewith, under the terms as stated in the contract documents and at his (or their) own proper cost and expense to furnish all materials, supplies, machinery, equipment, tools, super- intendence, labor, insurance and other accessories and services neces- sary to complete the said construction in accordance with the contract documents as defined in the General Condition of Agreement. The CONTRACTOR hereby agrees to commence work within ten days after the date written notice to do so shall have been given to him and to substantially complete same within the time specified in the contract documents. The OWNER agrees to pay the CONTRACTOR in current funds for the performance of the contract in accordance with the proposal submitted therefore, subject to additions and deductions, as provided in the con- tract documents in the sum of $56,767.00.
