HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 122166G - Quit Claim Deed - The Casey Carpet Co. - Lot 3 Block 9, Mccrummens 2Nd Addition - 12_21_1966. 11 GAS/cic U U\O� RESOLUTION n BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to Wayne Hood and Larry Doyle d/b/a The Casey Carpet Company, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Senter, Jr., Rep' cz Y asr THE STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF LUPBOCK )UIT CLAW, DEED KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT the City •lf Lubb---ck, a Home Rule Municipality of the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 ($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by 'Wayne Hood and Larry Doyle, d/b/alThe Casey Carpet Company, of the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does by these presents, BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE, and FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said Wayne Hood and Larry Doyle, d/b/a The Casey Carpet Company of the City of Lubbock, all Its right, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 3, Block 9, McCrummens Second Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County. Texas, THENCE South 140, 0 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot 3; THENCE East 7.5 feet to a point; THENCE North 30.0 feet to a pointj THENCE East T. 5 feet to a point; THENCE North 110.0 feet to a point in the North line of said Lot 8; THENCE West 15.0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the raid premises, together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belong- ing unto the said Wayne Flood and Larry Doyle, d/b/a The Casey Carpet Company, their successors and assigns, so that neither the City of Lubbock nor any person or persons claiming under it shall, at any time hereafter have, claim or demand any right to title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or any part thereof.
