HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2256 - Rate Changes- Southwestern Public Service- Reduction In Rates For Some Customers - 02_27_1986Resolution #2256 February 27, 1986 Agenda Item #7 DGV:cl ORDER AND RESOLUTION WHEREAS, Southwestern Public Service Company has heretofore on February 13, 1986, filed a notice of intent to change rates within the City of Lubbock; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that such rate change is not a major change within the meaning of Section 43 of the Public Utility Regulatory Act; and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Lubbock to go into effect immediately upon passage of this Order and Resolution, since such change will result in a reduction in rates for some classes of customers; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT ORDERED AND RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the request for a rate change heretofore filed by Southwestern Public Service Company on February 13, 1986, may, for good cause shown, be allowed to go into effect immediately upon passage of this Order and Resolution.
