Ballenger - Hodges Addition - 11_10_1966 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving regirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Lots E-1 thru E-43, C. N. Hodges Addition, made arrangements with C. R. Ballenger for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordi- nance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Lots E-1 thru E-43, C. N. Hodges Addition including the folbwing streets: Villa Drive from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Avenue Q South Drive (North End) to its intersection with the East Lip Line of Avenue Q South Drive (South End) known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1606. Part of Avenue L from its intersection with the South Property Line of 5.6th., Street to its intersection with a line 277.88 feet South of the South Property Line of 56th Street (Concrete only) known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1607. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improve- ments have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 10TtDAY F NO R , 1966. W. D. Ballenger, paving contractor, under his contract with the subdividers of Lots E-1 thru E-43, C. N. Hodges Addition and find the improve- ments on Villa Drive from Avenue Q South Drive (Ncath End) to Avenue Q South Drive (South End) Avenue L from 56th St. to 277.88' South of 56th St. (Concrete Only) as listed on the final estimate sheet to have beek completed in accordance with the plans and specifica- tions and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.
