ROGERS, JR., yor ATTEST: L venia Lowe, i5 y Secretary^Treasurer FORM APPROVED; Fred O, Senter, City At ey THE STATE OF TEXAS Y KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK II THAT THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality of the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND N0/100 ($1.00) DOLLARS AND OTHER GOOD AND VALUABLE CONSIDERATION to it in hand paid by the LUBBOCK COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, INC. , of the County of Lubbock., and State of Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, do by these presents, bargain, sell, release and forever quit claim unto the said LUBBOCK COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, INC. , of the City of Lubbock, all its right, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, described as follows, to-wit: A parcel of land out of SECTION 3, BLOCK E, Lubbock County, Texas, more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the West line of Avenue P, said point being 1161.0 feet North and 30.0 feet West of the Southeast corner of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 3, Block E; THENCE North along the West line of Avenue P a distance of 221.40 feet to a point of intersection of the West line of Avenue P and the Southwest right of way line of Avenue Q; THENCE South 41022' East along the Southeast right of way line of Avenue Q a distance of 45.39 feet to a point in the East line of said Section 3, Block E; THENCE South along the East line of said Section 3, Block E, a distance of- 132.0 feet more or less to a point in the new alignment of Avenue P; THENCE Southwesterly and south on a curve to the left having a radius of 140.8 feet a distance of 61.69 feet to a _ point; THENCE West 3.92 feet to the point of beginning. This is a correction quit claim deed given for the sole purpose of correcting that former quit claim deed dated July 16, 1964, between The City of Lubbock, Grantor, and Lubbock Commercial Buildings, Inc. ,. Grantee, which deed is recorded in Volume 1000, Page 549 of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, in which former deed the fifth call of the field notes should have been "THENCE Southwesterly and south on a curve to-the left having a radius of 140.8 feet a distance of 61.69 feet to a point;" and in all other respects the above quit-claim deed is hereby ratified and confirmed. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises, together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said LUBBOCK COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, INC. , its successors and assigns, forever, so that neither THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, nor its successors, nor any person or persons claiming under it shall, at any time hereafter, have, claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or any part thereof.
