HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 082566B - Street Improvements - Pioneer Pavers - Rushland Park Addition - 08_25_1966 ?� RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Rushland Park Addition, Eleventh Installment, made arrangements with Pioneer Pavers, Inc. for the construction of paving improve- ments on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Rushland Park Addition Eleventh Installment including the following streets: 7th Street from its intersection with a line 16.06 feet East of the East Property Line of Salem Avenue to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet North of the North Property Line of 8th Street and drainage channel to West Lip Line of Quaker Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1668. 8th Street from its intersection with a line 13.00 feet East of the East Property Line of Salem Avenue to the cul-de-sac East of Raleigh Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1669. Raleigh Avenue from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet South of the South Property Line of 8th Street to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet North of the North Property Line of 9th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1670. 9th Street from its intersection with a line 13.00 feet East of the East Property Line of Salem Avenue to its intersection with a line 17.00 feet West of the West Property Line of Quaker Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1671. Salem Avenue from its intersection with a line 3.00 feet North of the North Property Line of the alley South of 9th Street to its intersection with the North Property Line of 7th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1672. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorizel to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. r^ A � This resolution shall take effect and he in force from and after its passage. Box 2000 LUBBOCK , TEXAS 79406 August 25, 1966 Honorable Mayor and City Council Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Pioneer Pavers, Inc., paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Rushland Park Addition Eleventh Installment and find the improvements on 7th Street from Salem Avenue to 8th Street, 8th Street from Salem Avenue to Cul-de-sac East of Raleigh Avenue, Raleigh Avenue from 8th Street to 9th Street, 9th Street from Salem Avenue to Quaker Avenue, Salem Avenue from 7th Street to alley South of 9th Street as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
