RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed
to the Southcrest Baptist Church, attached herewith which shall be spread upon
the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council thisl2th day of May 1966.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS :
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK 4
THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipality of the County
of Lubbock and the State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of
ONE AND NO1100 ($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable considera-
tion to it in hand paid by the Southerest Baptist Church, a corporation of
the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, does by these presents, BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE and
FOREVER QUIT CLAW unto the said Southwest Baptist Church, a cor-
poration, Us successors and assigns, all its right, title and interest in
and to thetl certain tract4,or parcelf i of land lying in the County of
Lubbock and the State of Texas, described as follows, to-wU:
BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 2, Wayland-Edwards
Addition, a replat of Lots 4 and 5, Mac Fel Addition and a
part of Lot 1, Block 82, Crump Five Acre Addition, to the
City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE West a distance of 282.05 feet to the Southwest
corner of said Lot 2;
THENCE North a distance of 15.0 feet to a point;
THENCE East a distance of 282.05 feet to a point;
THENCE South a distance of 15.0 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD file said premises, together with all and
singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in apy belong-
ing unto the satti Southcest Baptist Church, a corporation of the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, its successors and assigns, forever so that
the said City of Lubbock, nor its successors and assigns, nor any person
or persons cbaimtng under it shall, at any time hereafter have, claim or
demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances,
or wW part thereof.
