RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Council, as required by Ordinance 2018-00015, hereby rinds that the site
plan for the proposed development for Guadalupe Villas at 1010 Marsha Sharp Freeway,
located on the south side of 3`d Street, west of Buddy Holly Avenue, Acuff Heights
Addition, Blocks 1, 5, and 8, and a portion of the Blocks 2, 6 and 7, and the closed streets
and alleys; 1121 ) Street, located at the southeast corner of 3`d Street and Avenue K,
William Tubbs Addition, Block 12, Lots 8 through 14, and the closed street; and 905 3`d
Street, located on the south side of 3rd Street, west of Buddy Holly Avenue, Acuff Heights
Addition, Block 2, Tract A provides the maximum compatibility with adjacent land uses
by providing:
1) The elevations of all of the structures for the proposed development;
2) A detailed landscape plan for the proposed development;
3) Security measures that will be provided by the proposed development;
4) Proper screening and off-street parking plans for the proposed
development; and
5) Any other requirement of the City Council that reasonably supports the
purposes of the A-2 zoning district to protect lower-density uses; and
THAT the City Council, as required by Ordinance 2018-00015, hereby approves the site
plan for the proposed development for Guadalupe Villas at 1010 Marsha Sharp Freeway,
located on the south side of 3`1 Street, west of Buddy Holly Avenue, Acuff Heights
Addition, Blocks 1, 5, and 8, and a portion of the Blocks 2, 6 and 7, and the closed streets
and alleys; 1121 3rd Street, located at the southeast corner of 3rd Street and Avenue K,
William Tubbs Addition, Block 12, Lots 8 through 14, and the closed street; and 905 3` d
Street, located on the south side of Yd Street, west of Buddy Holly Avenue, Acuff Heights
Addition, Block 2, Tract A. Said site plan and elevation review is attached hereto and
incorporated in this resolution as if frilly set forth herein and shall be included in the
minutes of the City Council.
