Rush Addition - 02_24_1966 GASsbw r71 nL .ICJ RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quitclaim Deed to the American State Bank, a corporation of Lubbock County, Texas, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Senter, Jr.,, City n'ey QUITCLAIM DEED THE STATE OF TEXAS @ KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE; PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK { THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipality of the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, for and in consideration of the Burn of ONE AND N0/100 ($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by American State Bank, a corporation of the County of Lubbock and State of Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does, by these presents, BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE and FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said American State Bank, a corporation, all its right, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Lubbock and State of Texed, described as follows: TRACT I: That part of 14th Street extending between the East right of way line of Avenue Q and the West right of way line of Paris Avenue more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Lot 4, Block b, G. A. Rush Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE East, along the South line of said block, 174. 0 feet to a point; THENCE Mouth 60. 0 feet to a point in the North line of Block 3 of said G. A. Rush Addition; THENCE West, along the North line of said Block, 114. 0 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 8 in said Block. 3; THENCE.North 60.0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. TRACT H. That part of 14th Street between Avenue P and Paris Avenue more fully described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 6, Block 4 in said G. A. Rush Addition; THENCE West 0.83 feet to a point on a curve, the center of said curve being 10. 0 feet South and 61.0 feet West from the Northwest corner of said Lot 6; THENCE Northwesterly along said curve, to the left, a distance of 27.24 feet to the center of 14th Street; THENCE East I0J.04 feet to a point; THENCE South 26. 0 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 8 in said Block 4; THENCE West 90. 0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
