HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 010666B - Utility Easement - Jack Geddes - Ground Transformer Pad, Lot 104 Plainsmen Add - 01_06_1966 a RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock an Above- Ground Transformer Pad Easement in favor of Jack Geddes dba Geddes Construction Company, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipal Corporation, of the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized officer, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand.paid by Jack Geddes dba Geddes Construction Company does hereby BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE and FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said Jack Geddes dba Geddes Construction Company of the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, his heirs and assigns, all of the City of Lubbock's right, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of land described as follows: BEGINNING at the Southeast corner of Lot 104, Plainsmen Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, THENCE North S.0 feet to a point; THENCE West 5.0 feet to a point, THENCE South 3.0 feet to a point; THENCE East 5.0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the premises, together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any saanner belonging unto the said Jack Geddes dba Geddes Construction Company, his heirs and assigns forever, so that neither the grantor nor its successors or assigns, nor any person or persons claiming under the grantor shall at any time hereafter have, claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or any part thereof.
