RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Melonie Park Addition, Lots 442-474, 477-481, and
483-494 made arrangements with T. J. Hodges, Inc. for the construction of paving
improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions
of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Melonie Park
Addition, Lots 442-474, 477-481 and 483-494 including the following streets:
66th Street from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet West of the West Property
Line of 64th Drive to its intersection with the West Line of Lot 474, Melonie Park
Addition known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1573.
64th Drive from its intersection with the South Property Line of Lot 304, Melonie
Park Addition to its intersection with a line 15.00 feet North of the North Property
Line of 67th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1574.
63rd Drive from its intersection with the South Property Line of Lot 271, Melonie
Park Addition to its intersection with a line 16.00 feet North of the North
Property Line of Joliet Drive known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number
1575.
67th Street from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet West of the West Property
'^' Line of 63rd Drive to its intersection with the West Line of Lot 483, Melonie Park
Addition known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1576.
Joliet Drive from its intersection with a line 15.00 feet West of the West Property
Line of Lynnhaven Drive (North Side) to its intersection with a line 40.18 feet
West of the West Property Line of 68th Street (North Side) known and designated as
New Subdivision Unit Number 1580.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said
improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been
constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the
provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE " CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby author-
ized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow
money.
II.
,., This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by T. J. Hodges, Inc. ,
paving contractor, under his contract with the subdividers of Melonie Park Addition
Lots 442-474, 477-481 and 483-494 and find the improvements on 66th Street, 64th
Drive, 63rd Drive, 67th Street and Joliet Drive as listed on the final estimate
sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and
recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues,
authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated
final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.
