HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 102865D - Quit Claim - Forrest Lumber Co - Alford Terrace Addition - 10_28_1965 GAS:bw 1 V RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City Council finds that a certain Underground Elect ric Line Easement located on a tract of land out of Lot 266, Alford Terrace Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, is no longer needed for public use. NOW THERE FORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quitclaim Deed to Forrest Lumber Company, covering the following described property, to-wit: Being all of the East 2.0 feet of Lot 226, Alford Terrace Addition to the City of Lubbock,, Lubbock County, Texas. SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary shall attest the signature of the Mayor to said deed and shall affix the Seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
