RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF A STREET AS LISTED
BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Tracts C and D, C. N. Hodges Addition, made
arrangements with Triplex Pavers for the construction of paving improvements on a
certain street dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said ordinance
prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Tracts C and D, C. N. Hodges
Addition including the following street:
The North 1/2 of 54th Street from its intersection with a line 16.5 feet West of
the East Property Line of Avenue Q South Drive to its intersection with the East
curb line of Avenue N, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1468-A.
The South 1/2 of 54th Street from its intersection with a line 16.5 feet West of
the East Property Line of Avenue Q South Drive to its intersection with a line
22 feet East of the East End of Radius on the Southeast corner of 54th Street and
Avenue N, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1468-B.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned street was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and
said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have
r� been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the
provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release
escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 21ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1965.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Triplex
Pavers, paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Tracts
C and D, C. N. Hodges Addition and find the improvements on 54th Street
from Avenue N to Avenue Q as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that
you accept the improvements on said streets, authorizing payment to the
contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet
as due them by the City of Lubbock.

NOTE TO THE AUDITOR:
Payment is now due Triplex Pavers and Chancey Sand & Gravel Company
in the amount of $4,060.25 for paving improvements constructed in 54th
Street adjacent to tracts C and D, C. N. Hodges. Addition. Payment is to be
made from the paving extension fund as follows:
Villa Builders of Amarillo, Tract C, C. N. Hodges $ 3,245.00
Villa Builders of Amarillo, Tract D, C. N. Hodges 815.25
Amount due Triplex Pavers and Chancey Sand &
Gravel Company $ 4,060.25
These improvements were accepted by and payment authorized by the
City Council on October 21, 1965.
