HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 101465K - Pavement Improvements - Pioneer Pavers Inc - Live Oak Addition - 10_14_1965 IC) Ig(pryo ~^ RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES �i AS LISTED BELOW: tWHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Live Oak Addition, Lots 128-176, made arrangements with Pioneer Pavers, Inc. for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Live Oak AdBlton, Lots 128-176 including the following streets: The East 1/2 of Gary Avenue (asphalt only) from its intersection with a line 51 feet North of the South Property Line of 66th Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 69th Street, known and designated as part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1132. The West 1/2 of Gary Avenue from its intersection with a line 51 feet North of the South Property Line of 66th Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 69th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1538. 67th Street from its intersection with a line 15 feet East of the East Property Line of Hartford Avenue to its intersection with a line 13 feet West of the West Property Line of Gary Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1539. 69th Street from its intersection with a line 15 feet East of the East Property Line of Hartford Avenue to its intersection with a line 13 feet West of the West Property Line of Gary Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1540. 68th Street from its intersection with a line 13 feet West of the West Property Line of Gary Avenue to its intersection with the end of the cul-de-sac West of Gary Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1541. Geneva Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of 69th Street to its intersection with the South Property Line of the alley South of 69th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1542. The East 1/2 of Hartford Avenue (concrete only) from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 67th Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 69th Street, known and designated as part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1543. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. A" THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. r That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City' s portion of the cost and to release escrow money. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 14TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 1965. Senter, Jr., City 01t torney it i ftE §fj + 77 '� 4 r ! zE P O R T E R , 3 4 9 1 r . 0 a 0 N 2 0 0 0 LUBBOCK , TEXAS 79406 October 14, 1965 Honorable Mayor and City Council Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Pioneer Pavers, Incorporated, paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Live Oak Addition Lots 128-176 and find the improvements on 67th Street from Gary Avenue to Hartford Avenue, 68th Street from Gary Avenue to Hartford Avenue, 69th Street from Gary Avenue to Hartford Avenue, Gary Avenue from 66th Street to the alley South of 69th Street, Geneva Avenue from 69th Street to the cul-de-sac South and Hartford Avenue (concrete east side only) from 67th Street to the alley South of 69th Street as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improve- ments on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
