RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOVLED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized
and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quitclaim
Deed to Urban Renewal Agency covering a portion of East 22nd Street attached
herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread
upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution
as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 14th day of October 1965.

THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipal Corporation, of
the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized
officer, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO1100 ($1.00)
DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by the
Urban Renewal Agency does hereby BARGAIN, BELL, RELEASE and FOREVER
QUITCLAIM unto the said Urban Renewal Agency, a corporation in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, its successors and assigns, all of the City of
Lubbock's right, title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel of
land described as follows:
N 112 of East 242nd Street from the East line of Cedar
Avenue to the West line of the North-South alley be-
tween Cedar and Date Avenues.
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of Lot 6, Block 19,
Wheelock's Second Addition to the City of Lubbock.,
THENCE South 25 feet;
THENCE East 140 feet;
THENCE Worth 25 feet to the Southeast corner of said
Lot 6;
THENCE hest 140 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises, together with all and
singular the rights. privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner be-
longing unto the said Urban Renewal Agency, its successors and assigns for-
ever, so that neither the grantor nor its successors or assigns, nor any
person or persons claiming under the grantor shall at any time hereafter
have, claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or
appurtenances, or any part thereof.
