This agreement entered into on this 9th day of September 1965,
by and between the City of Lubbock, a Rome Rule Municipality in the County of
Lubbock, Texas and B. F. Page and wife, Lillie Belle Page:
WIT NE SSETH:
THAT in consideration of the conveyance by B. F. Page and wife, Lillie
Belle Page to the City of Lubbock of all that certain parcel of land described as
follows:
The West 45.0 feet of the South 7 5.0 feet of the North
855.0 feet of the South 1/2 of the West 1/2 of the West
1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section
8, Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas.
The City of Lubbock agrees that upon conveyance of the above described tract
of land to the City of Lubbock by general warranty deed that no assessment shall be
levied upon the remainder of the B. F. Page property, abutting the property here-
by conveyed, for any portion of the paving, curb and gutter costs for the paving of
Quaker Avenue, GWO 10460. the contract for said paving having been entered into
between the City of Lubbock and Kerr Paving Company on January 28, 1965.
B. F. Page and wife Lillie Belle Page agree that they will convey the above
described tract of land for the above described consideration and it is understood
that this agreement does not cover any other paving, curb or gutter costs hereafter
assessed.

for the purposes and consideration therein expressed, and in the capacity therein
stated.

and acknowledged to me that they each executed the same for the purposes and
consideration therein expressed, and the said LILLIE BELLE PAGE, wife of the
said B. F. PAGE, having been examined by me privily and apart from her husband,
and having the same fully explained to her, she, the said LILLIE BELLE PAGE
acknowledged such instrument to be her act and deed and she declared that she had
willingly signed the same for the purposes and consideration therein expressed, and
she did not wish to retract it.
