RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quitclaim Deed to
Merchants Fast Motor Lines, Inc., attached herewith which shall be spread upon
the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 12th" day of kjj ust 1965.

COUNTY OF LUBBOCK f
THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipal Corporation, of
the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorised
officer, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 ($l.00)
DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by
Merchants Fast Motor Lines, Inc. does hereby BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE
and FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said Merchants Fast Motor Lines, Inc.,
its successors and assigns, all of the City of Lubbock's right, title and
interest tn.and to that portion of the C. L. Vaughn Addition, an addition to
the City of Lubbock, described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Lot i, Block
5, C. L. Vaughn Addition to the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock,County, Texas;
THENCE West a distance of 295 feet to the North-
west corner of Lot 5, Block 5 of said C. L. Vaughn
Addition;
THENCE North a distance of 20.0 feet to the South-
west corner of Block 2 of said addition;
THENCE. East a distance of 295 feet to the South-
east corner of Block 2 of said addition;
THENCE South a distance of 80 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises, together with all and
singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner be-
longing unto the said Merchants Fast Motor Lines, Inc., its successors and
assigns forever, so that neither the grantor nor its successors or assigns,
nor any person or persons claiming under the grantor shall at any time here-
after have, claim or demand any tight or title to the aforesaid premises or
appurtenances, or any part thereof.
