HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 070865M - Quit Claim - URA - Second Installment Of Sieber Addition - 07_08_1965 BDS:bw RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: U THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quitclaim Deed to Urban Renewal Agency covering portions of Teak Avenue and East 31st Street attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. Senter, Jr., ty Attorney r THE STATE OF TEXAS f KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK f THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipal Corporation, of the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, acting by and through its duly authorized officer, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100 ($1.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand- paid by Urban Renewal Agency does hereby BARGAIN, SELL, RELEASE'S and FOREVER QUITCLAIM unto the said Urban Renewal Agency, a corporation in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, its successors and assigns, all of the City of Lubbock's right, title and interest in and to those certain tracts or parcels of land described as follows: v� TRACT 1: That portion of Teak Avenue described as follows: BEGINNING at the original Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 18 of the Second Installment of the Sieber Addi- tion to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE West a distance of 25.0 feet to a point; THENCE South a distance of 120.0 feet to a point; THENCE East a distance of 25.0 feet to a point; THENCE North a distance of 120.0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. TRACT 2: That portion of East 81st Street described as follows: BEGINNING at the original. Northeast corner of Lot 1. Block 18 of the Second Installment of the Sieber Addi- tion to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE West a distance of 01.43 feet to a point; THENCE North 400 58' 82" East a distance of 13.96 feet to a point of curvature; THENCE around a curve to the left having a radius of 76.73 feet, chord bearing of North 320 08' 58" East, and a chord distance of 23.48 feet; THENCE East a distance of 68.78 feet to a point; THENCE South a distance of 30.41 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, f !; i i p 4 TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises, together with ell and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said Urban Renewal Agency, its successors and assigns forever, so that neither the grantor nor its successors or assigns, nor any person or persons claiming under the grantor shall at any time here- after have, claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or any part thereof.
